We are seeking smart, passionate, ambitious, and hardworking team players to help us bring Sakara to the next level.

About the role: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager of Finance and Operations to provide critical insights through analytics. • Work cross-functionally on budgeting, variance reporting, and ad hoc projects
  • Use AI to drive automation and efficiency across Finance, Operations, and People
  • Assist with investor materials, including Board presentations and investor requests
  • Partner with the Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely data
  • Facilitate tech integrations across financial and operationals systems, including order and inventory management software
  • Ensure appropriate organization and documentation of SOPs and related processes
  • Track and manage KPIs to ensure operational excellence
  • Coordinate with Sakara’s 3PL on operations and logistics for the products business
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including approvals, off-cycle runs, commissions, bonuses, and PTO accruals
  • Ensure payroll tax filings, wage compliance, and multi-state registrations are accurate and current
  • Administer the company 401(k) program, including enrollments, contribution and match funding, payroll integration, annual compliance testing, Form 5500 filing & audit support
  • Own the onboarding process: offer letters, background checks, I-9 and E-Verify, system and payroll setup, equipment provisioning, and first-week orientation
  • Own the offboarding process: final pay, benefits and 401(k) termination, system access revocation, equipment recovery, and exit documentation
  • Maintain accurate headcount and compensation data, and reconcile it against the financial forecast
  • Ensure employee records and people-ops processes meet federal, state, and local compliance requirements

Requirements:

Professional Experience: 6+ years of experience in investment banking/consulting and FP&A, with a proven track record of success in consumer goods, beauty, or wellness industries.

Financial Operations Expertise: Extensive knowledge and experience creating and scaling financial operations with best-in-class practices.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
