About the role: Your primary focus will be implementing an exceptional CRM strategy, system and products to bend our retention curve, as well as deliver the new frontier in growth marketing to seduce our clients into living the Sakara life–their best life. 

You’ll work alongside the Creative, Brand and Product team to flawlessly deliver the right message in the right place to communicate our values and value. You’ll be a leader on the Marketing and Brand team reporting to the Chief Marketing and Creative Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop & execute a multi-channel marketing and growth strategy that is aligned with our overall vision,  is accretive to the brand (i.e. not rely on discounting or other eCommerce tactics that aren't brand-centric) and a key driver of our business success.
  • Deliver our e-comm revenue and client targets (CAC, ROAS, AOV, LTV, CRR, Churn) through acquisition and retention strategies end-to-end.
  • Build marketing analytics, from defining and analyzing metrics to deriving actionable insights that drive KPI-measured marketing success. 
  • Manage the weekly, monthly and quarterly budgets across all paid, owned, earned channels to ensure growth and profitability.
  • Operationalize our client segmentation strategy across all channels.
  • In partnership with CMO, develop and drive a comprehensive CRM plan to build & deepen relationships with our clients, improve our payback period and grow client LTV through tools and products that support our client segmentation strategy
  • Establish a rigorous reporting cadence to ensure proper data analytics and business insights are driving real-time decisions and rapid learning and optimization
  • Partner with product team to define strategy and roadmap to deliver relevant site experience & journeys that support growth and retention objectives
  • Work cross functionally with Finance and operations on accurate sales and marketing projects and demand planning. 
  • Implement a process to ensure resources are deployed against the highest value drivers for the company's growth and profitability objectives
  • Amplify our revenue through performance Partnerships including corporate, ambassador and influencers.
  • Deliver exceptional 360 channel plans for our Nutrition Systems and Wellness products in partnership with Creative and Brand.
  • Improve and scale marketing processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Data-driven decision maker with 15+ years of omni-channel marketing leadership experience, including 5+ years of direct-to-consumer experience.
  • Prior experience in a start-up, early-stage, or high-growth business during a period of rapid acceleration is preferred.
  • Deep full-funnel digital marketing experience across acquisition/performance, CRM/database, retention/lifecycle/loyalty.
  • Must have experience implementing CRM programs and a proven track record of developing customer engagement strategies to grow lifetime value 
  • Experience working with a Growth team running paid digital across multiple ad platforms and demonstrated experience optimizing acquisition channels
  • Expert in managing marketing P&L and exceeding revenue targets and KPIs within planned expenses.
  • Proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining high-caliber marketing teams.
  • High level of proficiency in Excel.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and adaptable - a 'no job is too small' mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree: Master's degree preferred.

 

The pay band for this role is $170,000 to $230,000

This role is based in New York, NY and is hybrid.  You will be asked to be in the office 3 days per week.
