About the role: We are looking for a Digital Graphic Designer to join our creative team with a focus on email design. As a key member of our design team, your primary focus will be on growing and pushing our email creative as well as working on other digital assets including web assets, digital ads, and more. You’ll work closely with our creative and marketing teams to turn ideas into compelling creative that supports business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and conceptualizing daily marketing emails.
  • Support when needed in designing high-quality visual assets in a variety of formats, which could include digital ads (static and video; social and other ad formats), web pages, marketing cards and printed guides, packaging, and more
  • Come up with design ideas based on marketing briefs and business needs
  • Translate ideas into sketches, wireframes, mock-ups to get input from stakeholders and iterate
  • Handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Be a brand steward, obsessing over the details to ensure 100% brand consistency
  • Collaborate closely with the broader creative, marketing and tech teams
  • Be an active member of the creative team and Sakara at large to elevate and grow the brand – contributing to brainstorms, creative meetings, sharing inspirations, taking risks and sharing learnings from mistakes
     

Requirements:

  • 3+ years professional experience in graphic design at a brand or creative agency
  • Experience designing across multiple formats and channels, based on a marketing brief and business objectives
  • BA or BFA in Graphic Design preferred
  • Portfolio shows refined typography skills, elegant design and branding sensibilities
  • Ability to autonomously take a high level creative direction and translate it to design concepts and executable designs
  • Be comfortable with taking designs through front-end development.
  • Juggle multiple projects while ensuring the quality of the creative deliverables.
  • Be deadline driven.
  • Must have working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and Javascript.
  • A digital-centric and mobile-first mentality when designing consumer touchpoints
  • Familiarity with different digital content formats, social platforms, and innovative ad concepts
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); AfterEffects and Figma a plus
  • Illustration, animation, photography, videography, and/or UI/UX experience a plus
  • Highly collaborative and just as comfortable working with a team as solo
  • Super organized and energized by rigorous deadlines

This role is hybrid, with Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday based at our Sakara NY headquarters. 

The pay range for this position is: $85,000 - $100,000
